The Original Rainbow Cone Ice Cream Shop has been serving sweet slices of summer since 1926, when we opened on Chicago’s South Side.
Famous for our artfully stacked treat that lets you taste five perfectly blended flavors, the Rainbow Cone combines Chocolate, strawberry, Palmer House (vanilla with cherries and walnuts), pistachio almond and orange sherbet layered onto one colorful cone. It’s deliciously different, delightfully nostalgic, and unlike anything else you’ll find in a cone.
Still family-owned and full of charm, we now offer stacked cones in multiple flavor combinations, as well as beautiful ice cream cakes and ice cream treats adorned with Chicago’s famous mini donuts.
